Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. bone-in chicken or pork (cut into bite-size pieces)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 head of garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp. black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot or pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken or pork pieces to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the soy sauce, vinegar, black peppercorns, and bay leaves to the pan. Stir to combine.
